Wholesale & Bulk Purchasing at Hobby Box
Hobby Box works with a select number of hobby shops, resellers, and bulk buyers through our wholesale program. We are a Brooklyn-based specialty shop with strong relationships with distributors across sports cards, trading card games, comics, and collectibles — and we are open to building long-term relationships with serious wholesale partners.
Who We Work With
Our wholesale program is designed for: independently owned hobby shops and card stores; resellers with an established online or physical presence; bulk buyers purchasing for resale in the collectibles, pop culture, or toy space; and event organizers or show vendors purchasing inventory for conventions and shows.
We are not able to accommodate wholesale requests from individuals purchasing for personal use. Our retail store and website serve those customers well.
Products Available for Wholesale
Wholesale availability varies based on our current inventory and distributor allocations. Available product categories include sports cards (sealed boxes, cases, and singles lots), trading card games (Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering sealed product and singles lots), comics, and collectibles. Not all products available in our retail store are available at wholesale — ask us about current availability.
Minimum Order
The minimum initial wholesale order is $500 USD. The minimum on reorders is $300 USD. Orders below these thresholds are not eligible for wholesale pricing and will be processed at retail rates.
Pricing
Wholesale pricing is offered as a discount off our retail prices, structured in tiers based on order volume. Exact pricing is provided after your application is reviewed and approved. We do not publish wholesale pricing publicly. Prices are in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change based on market conditions and our own distributor costs. Wholesale pricing cannot be combined with other promotions or discount codes.
How to Apply
To apply for a wholesale account, email hello@hobbyboxny.com with the subject line “Wholesale Inquiry” and include: your business name and website or social media presence; your state or country of operation; your resale or business license number (U.S. applicants); the types of products you are interested in; and your estimated monthly order volume. We review all applications and respond within 3–5 business days.
Payment Terms
Approved wholesale orders are paid in full at the time of purchase. We do not offer net payment terms (Net 30, Net 60, etc.) at this time. Payment is accepted by wire transfer, ACH, or the same card payment methods available on our retail site.
Shipping
Wholesale orders are shipped within 1–5 business days depending on order size and packaging requirements. Shipping costs for wholesale orders are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination and will be quoted at the time of order. Free shipping is a retail benefit and does not apply to wholesale orders.
For large case-level orders, freight shipping may be used. We will confirm the shipping method and cost with you before finalizing the order.
Returns and Authenticity
All wholesale products carry the same authenticity guarantee as our retail products — we only sell genuine, legitimate goods. Wholesale orders are carefully inspected before shipment. Returns on wholesale orders are accepted only for damaged or incorrect items. Sealed product that has been accepted and resold by the wholesale buyer is not eligible for return.
Confidentiality
Wholesale pricing provided to approved partners is confidential and may not be shared with third parties or published publicly.
